BurnFree® Sterile First Aid Pain Relieving Burn Care Dressing

BurnFree® Sterile Burn Dressings can be used to reduce the pain and trauma of wounds from fires, flames, scalds, chemical, and electrical injuries. However, with chemical burns, the wound must be thoroughly irrigated, and neutralized, before using the gel. With electrical burns, the current must be turned off before using the gel since the Burnfree solution is water-based and conducts electricity. Burnfree® sterile burn dressings can be used to reduce the pain and trauma from fires, flames, scalds, and chemical and electrical injuries. The dressings are made of soft, open-cell foam saturated with the water soluble Burnfree® gel. They are light and easily transportable, and a single application is usually effective. The dressings have a foam carrier which allows complete delivery of gel to the burn. Burnfree® dressings are non-adherent and the foam base will not shed threads, strands, or fibers that might become embedded in the wound. The smaller Burnfree dressings are ideal for hands and fingers, while the large dressings are big enough to treat a foot, arm, or leg.
